Discover local oysters and learn fascinating facts about the mighty mollusk Take a self-guided shellfish tour, discover a wide variety of markets and restaurants (some with a raw oyster bar) along the NC Oyster Trail. Perfect year-round, the wild oyster season starts the middle of October, with farmed oysters making it possible for you to enjoy oysters anytime. Some restaurants like Seabird and Rx Chicken & Oysters have cultivated their own oyster. Come slurp and sip and learn about making seafood bountiful!
