Poplar Grove Plantation Ghost Hunt

Get spooked all year round at Poplar Grove Plantation with Haunted Rooms America for their Ghost Hunt tour that occurs in the dead of night until 2 a.m. Explore the manors ground in candlelight as you are guided by experienced investigators that tell the stories of haunted past.

Haunts, or haints, of all ages from 1850 through the 20th century continue to hover in and around the restored Manor House, Tenant House, graveyard and grounds. Deceased members of the Foy family who called Poplar Grove home for six generations and a handful of others still make their presence known in particular rooms of the house. There are lots of stories to share of how they have introduced themselves over the years including footsteps of a Civil War soldier and the grieving spirit of a mother who lost four children.

Guests work in small groups with professional ghost hunting equipment, then enjoy free roam time to investigate on their own.
